Welcome to The Ballroom and Latin Academy. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for all students. By enrolling in our classes, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Enrollment Requirements

• Students must complete the online enrollment form and agree to these terms and conditions before attending classes.

• Minors under 18 must have their enrollment form signed by a parent or guardian.

Payment Policies

• Payment is required in advance for classes, packages, or memberships.

• No refunds are provided for missed classes, unless the studio cancels the session.

Trial Classes

• First-time students may be eligible for a trial class. Trial classes must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

 Membership Cancellation

• Memberships require a minimum 12-week commitment and can be canceled with 7 days' notice by messaging us.

Studio Policies

Code of Conduct

• Students are expected to respect instructors, fellow dancers, and studio property.

• Bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.

Attendance and Punctuality

• Students are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes before class to warm up.

• Late arrivals may not be permitted to join the class to avoid disruptions.

Appropriate Attire

• Students should wear appropriate dance attire and footwear specific to their chosen style

Safety and Liability
 Assumption of Risk

• Dancing involves physical activity that may result in injury. By participating, students accept the inherent risks.

Medical Conditions

• Students must disclose any medical conditions or injuries before attending classes.

• The studio reserves the right to request medical clearance from a healthcare professional.

Liability Waiver

• The Ballroom and Latin Academy and its instructors are not liable for injuries sustained during classes or on studio premises.

Studio Cancellations

• The studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes. Students will be notified promptly, and a replacement class will be offered where available.

Student Cancellations

• Missed classes are non-refundable. Makeup classes may be available at the discretion of the studio.

Refunds

• Refunds are only provided in exceptional circumstances and at the studio’s discretion.

Parental Supervision

• Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring minors are dropped off and picked up on time.

Class Observations

• Parents may observe classes at any time. The studio is an open place for our community, where parents can attend for lessons whenever desired. 

Storage of Belongings

• Students are responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings during classes.

• A designated area will be provided for storing personal items, but it is not secured.

Liability for Loss or Damage

• The Ballroom and Latin Academy is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings on studio premises.

• Students are encouraged to leave valuables at home and ensure their belongings are clearly labelled.

The Ballroom and Latin Academy reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Students will be notified of any significant changes.
